~ End-of-Week Mail Bag ~

You know you are unusually tardy when Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas mail is represented in one posting.  *Sigh*

 

Recently, Pen Friends hosted and attended a Letter Writing Social.  http://thesnailmailer.blogspot.com/2012/11/long-but-good-day.html   It was great to hear about the event and its success.  What fun it must have been to try the supplies and punches that were provided; as well as write a letter or two!  Hands-on activities does spark creativity.  In addition, I can only imagine the excitement of meeting those you have been writing to.  It is so fun to put a face/voice with the person you have exclusively known thru the mail.  I am sure this successful social sparked the interest in some to start writing letters - if not for the first time, then to start writing again.
